This is the presentation we pitched to our class in order to get the Green Light. In this pitch we have covered everything that needs to be considered. The presentation has information on:
- Concept Development, including a detailed outline of our opening sequence.
-Summary of findings from film openings we have analysed.
- Our moodboard we put together using text and images to put forward some ideas on mise-en-scene, fonts, locations and sound ideas.
- Summaries of the audience research we carried out, including diagrams and written explanations.
- Location reccie to our planned council estate location, where we took pictures of different angles we think would work well.
- Full outline of all our ideas for characters, props and costumes.
- Ideas we have about specific shot and technical ideas.
- Fonts we plan on using, and sound ideas we have.
Overall, I think the pitch went really well. Yes, we received some comments which challenged us but we were able to overcome them by talking as a group and with the class as a whole. However, we did get many positive comments too, as well as the green light. We are now extremely confident about the direction we are headed.
